Cameo Habillée ring featuring a young woman, expertly carved to leave a slight blush on her cheek. She wears a gold necklace holding a rosecut diamond. The cameo is held by ribbons of gold on a patterned shank.
Marked ‘OB’ for prominent Providence, Rhode Island jewelers Otsby & Barton, who operated from the late 1800s to mid 19the century. Ostby was a passenger who died on the Titanic in 1912.
This ring comes with the original heart shaped celluloid box.
